Handpicked shells right from the bay, down in Texas! This cross is a one of a kind design that follows my style in creation. The shells all have imperfections that reflect the beauty of nature. This cross can lay flat or be propped up onto a surface.
When making the cross I use oyster shells as a base in the back to then design on. When making the back it is like a puzzle to combine the right shells in the right place to get the ideal look. After the base of oyster shells is dried, I go onto the next step which is designing the front with shells and faux pearls.

Black and Blue Scallop Shell Cross
With this specific design I am using darker grey and black tones of scallop shells, along with Asiatic clam shells, which are the tiny purple colored ones on center. I find these in the river of my hometown ! Lastly in the center of the cross is a whelk shell. Throughout the cross I decorate with faux pearls to give an enchanting appearance.

Red, Orange, Black Scallop Shell Cross
With this specific design I am using Calico Scallop Shells with the color variations of red, orange, and black. In the center of the cross is a whelk shell, I like to put these in the center of the cross as it just satisfies me as the final touch. Throughout the cross I decorate with faux pearls to give an enchanting appearance.
